Artefact Extraction
Meta BI connects to the source CMS or Tableau Server and extracts all reports, workbooks, data sources, data modules and Framework Manager models programmatically via our proprietary SDK. The extraction is read-only and leaves no footprint on the source environment. A full inventory is reviewed with the client before any migration work begins.
Wave-Based Migration
Parallel rule-driven reconstruction of all building blocks on the destination platform using the Meta BI engine and AI intelligence layer. Reports are rebuilt wave by wave according to the agreed delivery schedule. Each wave is self-contained and signed off independently, allowing business teams to adopt migrated content progressively.
Validation and Reconciliation
Automated UI and data-level comparison between source and migrated artefacts. Discrepancies flagged for targeted review before formal UAT begins. Data reconciliation performed in-memory using metadata and schema. No persistent storage of client data at any stage. Joint sign-off obtained per wave before delivery progresses.

Visual Recreation
Chart-by-chart migration with semantic equivalents identified and applied across source and destination platforms. Where no native equivalent exists, scripted or custom visual engines are applied to deliver functional parity.
Business Logic Rebuild
Calculated fields, filters, aggregations, custom expressions and conditional formatting rules parsed and re-implemented in native destination syntax. MDX and DMR query logic translated into DAX or SQL. Tableau LOD expressions, sets and bins reconstructed as equivalent measures and dimensions.
Data Modelling Rebuild
Joins, relationships, data blends, calculated dimensions and measures, and hierarchies reconstructed in the destination data layer or a connected semantic layer such as Cube.dev. Framework Manager namespaces and query subjects parsed in full.
